Emory School of Nursing Honors Program Application
Emory School of Nursing Honors Program Application
OVERVIEW:
The Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing BSN Honors Program provides a challenging academic experience for our most intellectually gifted, motivated, and inquisitive students. Students in the BSN Honors Program have the opportunity to explore issues that are relevant to nursing and society at an in-depth level. BSN Honors Program participants build a dynamic collaborative network through cohort and mentoring relationships, have increased opportunities to explore nursing research, and are exposed to a range of innovative methods of inquiry. Throughout their experience, Honors students develop leadership skills and an appreciation of nurses’ social responsibility. Honors students conduct research or a scholarly project, write a thesis and present their work publicly to the community of scholars. Graduates are recognized for their honors work at the time of graduation with the distinctions of Honors, High Honors or Highest Honors.

- Students must have completed their nursing prerequisites at a four-year institution.
